When you visit
Once you have found us at Manor School, pull in through the school gates and park either immediately to your left down in the playground or in front of the school. There is plenty of space available.
As you enter
You will be welcomed by members of our church. The school hall is to your right and you can sit anywhere you like. If you have mobility problems, we can provide you with a chair that may be more suitable for you. Just ask the person at the door. Most Sundays we have about 35-40 people attending.
Our services
Last approximately an hour and a quarter and are informal. Music is led by a small worship group or using Worship Lyric videos. Worship songs are mostly contemporary, well-known choruses and hymns. During the service, as well as singing, videos may be used and there may be times of open prayer. There is usually a sermon lasting about 20 minutes.
Children
Sunday Club starts after the first 10 or 15 minutes of the service. Feel free to accompany your child.
Giving
There is a box for any monetary gifts to the church’s work at the back of the hall. This is for members to contribute to the church funds. There is no expectation for visitors to give unless they want to.
Communion
We hold a communion service as part of our Sunday worship once a month. From time to time we may have Family Communion where children can participate with their parents’ permission. We ask that children sit with their parents during these Communions. We invite all who love and follow our Saviour Jesus Christ to join us in celebrating this ordinance. If you would rather not, just let the bread and wine pass you by.
