When You Visit

Once you have found us at Manor School, pull in through the school gates and park either immediately to your left in the playground or in front of the school. There is plenty of space available.

As you enter you will be welcomed by a member of our church and given our weekly notice sheet (There is a link to this on the 'What's on' page).  The school hall is to your right and you can sit anywhere you like. Currently the chairs are spaced out for social distancing.  If you have mobility problems, we can provide you with a chair that may be more suitable for you. Just ask the person at the door.  Most Sundays we have about 30 people attending.

Our services last approximately an hour and a quarter and are informal. Music is led by a small worship group and Worship Lyric Videos. Worship songs are mostly contemporary, well-known choruses and hymns. During the service, as well as singing, videos may be used and there may be times of open prayer and listening to God and a sermon lasting about 20 minutes.

At the moment, due to the Coronavirus, we would ask everyone to wear a mask while singing and while moving around the hall

Children go out to Sunday Club after the first 10 or 15 minutes of the service. Feel free to accompany your child. There is a box at the back of the hall for our weekly offering.  This for members to contribute to the church funds. There is no expectation for visitors to give unless they want to.

We hold a communion service as part of our Sunday worship on the third Sunday in the month.  We invite all who love and follow our Saviour Jesus Christ to join us in celebrating this ordinance. If you would rather not, just let the bread and wine pass you by.

Come dressed as you like – there is no dress code.

When the service finishes, please stay for refreshments and a chat, so that we can get to know you.

If you are visiting us for the first time, or you have questions, we invite you to contact us so that we can look out for you.
